Main Street Moberly, Inc. is a not
for profit organization to an economically strong, safe,
attractive and exciting downtown. Main Street seeks to
provide unified leadership to energize the business and
residential life in the downtown area. Attracting new
business and creating more jobs, which in turn have a
positive effect on the growth and economic value of the
entire Moberly area.
We are very excited that you have
chose the heart of Moberly for the location of your
business. Each downtown business enhances the next,
capitalizing on customer traffic, making and exciting
domino effect. Striving to have promotions and activities
to stay a destination downtown, we hope that you will
take advantage of these opportunities. It is our earnest

Historic Downtown Moberly has been
a shopping tradition for many generations. Early shoppers
arriving by train found themselves at the East end of
Reed Street when they got off the train. Today shoppers
travel by motor vehicle and there is a generous amount of
parking available on main, side streets, and 5 city
parking lots arranged around the shopping district.
Business people and their employees who do not have
private parking areas, all park in the city lots. This
has sometimes been a concern especially in bad weather
but with everyone's cooperation we manage to keep parking
open for customers.
